Our Mission:
To grow as disciples and serve as leaders by exploring and sharing our faith through worship, fellowship, and love.
Welcome! Our growing diocesan youth ministry is designed with the dream to enhance the faith formation of our youth by broadening their spiritual development through a variety of youth events. As we are in these early steps of this formational journey, the aim is that these events will include weekend retreats throughout the program year, opportunities for camp, and service and mission-learning during the summer.
Through peer ministry, our youth serve as the face of Jesus for each other, the hands and feet if Christ to those in need, and the light of Christ to the world.
We hope that through the growth of our diocesan programs, and the support for the flourishing of our community’s individual parish programs, the youth will have the chance to live into servant ministry, strengthen their faith, build Christ-centered relationships, and become empowered in the leadership of our Church.
We hope in the future that our Youth Commission can also provide enrichment for youth workers and volunteers by offering opportunities for networking, professional development, spiritual formation, and resources for our diocesan youth ministers, as well as coaching and consulting for individual parishes.

Music Workshop
We are again meeting to answer the call from our Bishop to examine and explore the music used at our youth events and at camp and assess how they fit with our church theology and, with a cuticle and discerning eye (or ear), work to build a music library for our youth and young people that is jubilant with sacrificing our identity.
The Next Music Workshop TBA.
Mission, Service, and Outreach
For everyone, we are called to serve the world in the name of Christ. To go beyond the boundaries of our comfort and familiarity, to seek those at the margins- the people that Jesus made the focus of his ministry and the banner-carriers of salvation.
This work doesn’t look like a singular thing. It can take place in our own backyards, towns, and state, as well as those other places in need in our country and in the world.
We aim to meet all those needs, because they are all important. This work has already begun with our Summer Mission trip this past June to Nashville with Group Missions’ Week of Hope. (Please see the write up of the work we did in service and fellowship here).
This work will continue with our Pilgrimage to Canterbury in July of 2027 (more info to come)!
Happening

HAPPENING is one of those things that must be experienced to be fully understood. During the three-day weekend, the 9-12th grade participants spend time seriously considering the person and teaching of Jesus Christ in a relaxed, fun, informal and loving atmosphere. They are provided with opportunities to share, discuss, learn and live with fellow Christians in an environment of acceptance and understanding. More information and registration can be found on the Happening Page! (link to be added). Also read about last year’s Happening #8 on our website here.
Upcoming Happening Events:
Happening #9: April 23-25, 2027
At St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center
