The Trustees of the Diocese are comprised of three clergy and three lay members, in addition to the Bishop who shall serve ex officio and with a vote as President of the Trustees, and the Chancellor of the Diocese who shall serve ex officio but without a vote.

The responsibilities of the Trustees are in accordance with 1902 Act of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, and include quarterly meetings, and managing the investments, assets, and endowments of the diocese.
