The Rev. David Hudspeth Received into the Priesthood of the Episcopal Church

Bishop Ruth Woodliff-Stanley presided over the service of worship receiving the Rev. David Hudspeth into the priesthood of The Episcopal Church on Wednesday, August 27, at St. Luke’s Chapel in Summerville (the church where Good Shepherd, Summerville is currently holding their weekly services; located at 208 Central Avenue). Father David currently serves as a hospital chaplain and was previously ordained within another communion by a bishop within the historic succession of bishops. He has been regularly attending services at Good Shepherd, Summerville and serving in lay ministry roles for several years. On Sunday, August 31, he preached and celebrated the Holy Eucharist during the Sunday morning service at Good Shepherd.
