The Rev. Canon Ruth Woodliff-Stanley is Officially Bishop-elect

Earlier today, the Episcopal Church shared the news that our Standing Committee has been notified that the required majority of bishops and standing committees with jurisdiction have consented to the May 1, 2021, election of the Rev. Canon Ruth Woodliff-Stanley as the XV Bishop of the Diocese of South Carolina.

​Plans are moving forward for the consecration of our bishop-elect on Saturday, October 2, 2021, and more details about the coming months will be shared after the July 4th holiday.
