Clergy Transition: The Rev. Sandra Moyle

The Rev. Sandra (Sandy) Moyle has been named by the Ven. Callie Walpole as Interim Priest-in-Charge at St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church, Florence. Sandy retired from Holy Cross Faith Memorial, Pawleys Island, where she served as the Assistant Rector. After graduating from Virginia Theological Seminary, she went on to serve at churches in Tampa and Jacksonville, Florida before moving to South Carolina.

​Prior to answering the call to ministry, she worked in radio and television news in Virginia for 20 years. Her mission as a priest is, “Always recognizing God’s sovereignty and initiative, I seek to celebrate God’s covenant with us, steadfast love for us, and creative work among us.” Sandy will begin with St. Catherine’s on May 1.
